Galilee Welcomes You

Galilee Lutheran Church worships God and shares God's word, reaches out to all people, and reflects the love, respect, and compassion of Jesus Christ.
We invite and welcome everyone.

Galilee's 40th Anniversary in Lake County was celebrated in 2005.

Worship

Galilee celebrates all the major Church festivals with special services.

Holy Communion is celebrated the first and third Sundays of each month.

Our congregation practices open Communion - All who are baptized and believe that Christ is really present in the Sacrament are welcome to receive the bread and wine.  Young children may also come forward and receive words of blessing.

Refreshments and fellowship each week immediately following the services.

As Jesus walked by the Sea of Galilee he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea; for they were fishermen.  And Jesus said to them, "Follow me and I will make you fishers of all."  Immediately they left their nets and followed him.  And going on  from there Jesus saw two other brothers, James, the son of Zebedee and John, his brother, in the boat with Zebedee their father, mending their nets, and called them.  Immediately they left the boat and their father, and followed Jesus.
